Anderson Cooper reached deep into his pockets at Sean Penn's "Help Haiti Home Gala" on Saturday. According to People Magazine, the news anchor got into a bidding war with colleague Piers Morgan over a sculpture made of 60 of Penn's discarded firearms. Piers offered $1.3 million but Anderson outbid, winning the piece for $1.4 million.
