The man on trial for charges related to standoff in Victor last year has pleaded guilty to a weapons charge.

Ryan Whidden's plea comes as he is on trial for a 12-hour standoff last March at his Ketchum Street home. Investigators say Whidden barricaded himself and his wife inside the home after they responded to shots fired. Whidden is expected to be sentenced to 10 years in prison plus five years parole. An order of protection has been issued for Whidden's wife. His sentencing is tentatively scheduled for March 14th at 2 p.m.
