The committee searching for the Rochester City School District's new superintendent continued to pour over applicants during a meeting today.

The Committee was formed last year. It is made up of board members, parents, business and community leaders, as well as students.

School Board President Malik Evans says the group has a "good number" of applicants to consider for the position.  Interviews are expected to begin by the end of the month.  The committee hopes to have a candidate by May and fill the position by July 1.
