Political Analyst Curt Smith says Warren being a woman has no significance whatsoever; she will be judged on her performance in office and that's how it should be.
Smith says Warren does have bridges to repair with the business community, because they supported former Mayor Tom Richards.
Smith says Richards did have 40% of the vote, and if he had decided in the wake of the primary to move forward full throttle, he would have won.
Smith also commented on voter turnout, it has been lacking since 2005- but better than 2009, Smith says this is still low and the reason people aren't coming to the polls to vote is because the people aren't connecting with the candidates, and they could see them as corrupt.
