On Friday, Syracuse released a statement that Arinze Onuaku was "anticipated" to be at practice on Monday. After learning of their number one seed Sunday night, Orange coach Jim Boeheim told media that Onuaku would not practice on Monday and that he was unlikely to play in Syracuses first two games of the NCAA Tournament. Onuaku suffered a right quad injury in Thursdays loss to Georgetown. He was at the press conference to discuss Syracuses seeding without a limp or any noticeable signs of the injury. Boeheim did not completely rule Onuaku out of either game this weekend. The Orange open with Vermont Friday in Buffalo and then play the winner of Gonzaga and Florida State on Sunday.
