Rome Police say they have arrested three men from Utica in connection to an armed robbery that took place in August at a credit union. Police arrested Taiquan Howard, 18, Shakeal Hendrick, 20, and 54-year-old Robert Hendricks. According to police reports back in August, two men displayed handguns at the credit union in the afternoon and one of the suspects jumped over the counter and removed cash while the other two suspects kept customers at bay. Police indicate that the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests could be possible.

A bogus prescription led to the arrest of a local veterinarian. Amy French, 42, from Cherry Valley was arrested after authorities say a two-month investigation revealed that she had written at least one prescription for an animal when she intended it to be consumed by her ex-boyfriend. French was charged with forgery.
