Investigators: Kids Lived in House With Wall to Wall Dog Feces
An Ontario County woman is facing child endangerment charges. Racheal Nguyen, 26, is accused of living with her two children ages 7 and 11 in deplorable conditions. Nguyen was arrested Wednesday. Police say the floors of the house were covered with dog feces and glass. Investigators also say there was no heat on in the house and little food. "The officers described it as some of the worst conditions that they've ever witnessed," said Philip Povero, Ontario County Sheriff. "It certainly is alarming. When we think of the potential for disease and infection that could be spread by animal feces it certainly appears to be a proper charge." Nguyen claims police are blowing it out of proportion. She claims she was hardly home last week and her children were staying with her dad. Nguyen says it only took two hours to clean the house. She will appear in East Bloomfield Town Court at a later date.
