Dozens of bikers made an emotional entrance as they surprised Larie Butler's family at Saturday night's candlelight vigil.
"It means a lot to me. I feel loved. I do, I really do feel loved. I never knew I had all these people out here helping, watching the television, praying and hoping for my baby to come home. I'm happy," said Karen Snipes, Larie's mother.
Biker Bryant Carter says this is a way they can give back to the family.
"That's the impact bikes have on the community. It grabs attention whether postive or negative but we are out here for the positive reasons," said Bryant Carter.
Hundreds of people bowed their heads and shared a moment of silence to remember a girl who left the world too soon.
"I'm going to keep my head up for her because she was just someone I could always talk to. We always shared our stories with each other. She wanted to be a nurse. I wanted to open my own hair shop. We would always make jokes and sing," said Shaquilla Filidor, Larie's friend.
Friends and family members of Brittanee Drexel and Alonzo Williams were present at the ceremony. They have also struggled with the loss of a missing child.
Pastor Britt Pledger of Jesus the Christ Church says the support of the community is vital, especially here in Rochester.
"This has been going on too long and it's a lot of this. Everytime we turn around there is a child missing or body coming up. In the last few days, four bodies have been found," said Britt Pledger, Pastor and Founder of Jesus the Christ Church of Greater Rochester.
Larie's mother says she feels confused and lost with so many questions still unanswered. She wants justice for her daughter.
"Why didn't you just let her go, let her come home. I wouldn't be standing here today in front of you television people if my baby was up and walking, but she's gone and he has to pay," said Snipes.
Police have charged family friend, Devante Lively, with Butler's death.
As of now, there is no word on funeral arrangements.
