In May, women volunteers will build a Habitat home for a local single mom.  And for the first time, Flower City Habitat for Humanity is starting the building process online.

$79,000 - that's what's needed to build the home at 278 Campbell Street in the Josana neighborhood.  Flower City Habitat is looking to raise all the money for this house online .  $8,000 has already been raised.

If you donate online, you can dress up your own little virtual house.

Flower City Habitat hopes to have all the money raised by May 8th.  That's when they want to kick off the build.  It's the day before Mother's Day which is special because the home will only be built by women.  News 8 has learned Ms. Linda Powell, a local single mom, will move in when the house is complete.
