The former public school teacher calls it a "New Deal for Rochester students." White says his plan is simple and takes into account the needs of all Rochester public school students. He says his plan provides the funds the district needs to meet its obligations to students.
"Which is more important? Profits for developers, or education for our children? And that's what this comes down to..very simply," he said.
White's new plan uses funds from property tax reassessments to provide the additional money necessary to bolster the Rochester City School District. To see White's complete proposal, click here.
