New York Minute: January 13th

- Dozens had to be rescued outside of Buffalo Saturday night after flood waters trapped them in their homes. Rescuers had to use boats to free about 30 West Seneca residents because the water was waist-high in some places. The weekend rains combined with melting snow created flooding problems throughout much of western New York on Saturday.

People braved the cold in their underwear on subway trains around the world Sunday. It was the 13th annual No Pants Subway Ride. There were only two requirements to participate. You had to be willing to take your pants off and able to keep a straight face about it. The No Pants Subway Ride started in the U.S. in 2002 as a prank and it has become a yearly tradition.
