WEBSTER, N.Y. (WROC-TV) - A Webster woman is accused of stealing thousands from her former employer.
The Wayne County Office of the Sheriff deputies arrested 49-year-old Kelly Kozlowski of Webster on Saturday afternoon.
Police say the charges stem from an investigation into complaints where Kozlowski was accused of stealing money out of her ex-employer's business and personal accounts.
Kozlowski is accused of taking up to $166,000 from 2014-2017, according to police. She was arrested at her residence and taken to the Sheriff's Office in Wayne County for processing.
Deputies charged Kozlowski with grand larceny, identity theft, forgery and falsifying business records.
Kozlowski was arraigned in the Town of Lyons Court and was released.
She will reappear in the Town of Ontario Court at a future date to answer to the charges.
