Warren re-elected as Rochester mayor

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC-TV) - Another big race Tuesday was the one for the mayor of Rochester.

Incumbent Mayor Lovely Warren received 60 percent of votes.

"We won because good, hardworking people like all of you are sick of politics of division and exclusion and no voters were more loyal to our ideal as Democrats than the party in the city of Rochester," Warren said after winning.

Republican challenger Tony Micciche had 18 percent. James Sheppard took 14 percent even though he did not actively campaign.
