Two-car crash at a yard sale in Freedom, NY

Three children were flown to Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo

Our sister station in Buffalo, WIVB, the three children involved in collision in Freedom are in stable condition according to hospital officials

Three children were flown via Mercy Flight to Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo Sunday following a two-car crash next to a yard sale in Freedom, N.Y.

It happened on State Route 98 near Galen Hill Road around 4:20 p.m.

According to the Cattaragus County Sheriff's Office, A pickup truck traveling south drifted to the side of the road and collided with a parked Dodge Caravan. Two children were in the van at the time of the crash. The pickup truck also struck another child and two adults.

All three children were transported to Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo. The driver of the pickup truck and the other two adults were taken to Erie County Medical Center.

No word on the condition of those injured or if charges will be filed against the driver of the pickup truck. The investigation is ongoing.
