Police make arrest in Geneva murder case

GENEVA, N.Y. (WROC-T.V.) - Police have arrested a man in connection with murder that happened in Geneva.

Willie Dixon McKoy Jr. is charged with second degree murder. Police say he shot Pliekou Irvin Sr. in the chest Tuesday. Irvin Sr, was taken to taken to Geneva General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police tracked McKoy Jr. to a residence in Wayne County, where he surrendered to police after several hours.

McKoy Jr. was arraigned in Geneva City Court Thursday morning. Bail was set at no bail and no bond.
