Man with 38 license suspensions faces felony drug charges after traffic stop

Arroyo was in possession of 13.4 grams of cocaine, 10 packages of Suboxone

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC-TV) - A Rochester man is facing several drug charges after being pulled over on Remington Street at Clifford Avenue on Monday.

Troopers initiated a vehicle and traffic stop for vehicle and traffic infractions. A check of the driver's license indicated 20-year-old Felix Arroyo had 38 suspensions in 14 different dates.

Following his arrest, a search revealed Arroyo was in possession of 13.4 grams of cocaine and 10 packages of Suboxone.

Arroyo was subsequently charged for felony criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, felony criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, felony aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree, misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, and numerous vehicle and traffic infractions. 

Arroyo was remanded to the Monroe County Jail for arraignment.
