Lyons woman charged with hit-and-run in Victor

VICTOR, NY (WROC) - A Lyons woman is accused of hitting a woman in Victor with her car and then leaving the scene of the crash.

Twenty-year-old Amari Linzy-Richardson is charged with assault and leaving the scene of a personal injury motor vehicle accident.

Deputies say Linzy-Richardson was backing out of a driveway on Saurer Farms Drive in Victor Monday night when she hit a 55-year-old woman. The 55-year-old suffered a broken shoulder and other injuries as a result.

But, instead of stopping, deputies say Linzy-Richardson drove away.

Investigators located her early Tuesday morning at a Best Western. She was sent to Ontario County Jail ahead of arraignment.
