Local coffee roaster's products available across the nation

HENRIETTA, N.Y. (WROC-TV) - If you love your daily cup of coffee, you may be surprised to know a lot of it comes from a factory in Henrietta.

"We put a lot of love in it," said Garrett Dobesh, Maidstone Coffee's plant manager. "Lets put it that way."

Maidstone Coffee makes coffee exclusively for Tim Hortons, and how it is made is more complex than your Keurig at home.

"It's procured from all different types of origins," said Dobesh. "We pick select type of grains. We blend those type of coffee to bring that unique Tim Hortons' profile and then after we blend it and clean it, we bring it to our roasters."

From there, they then grind it and pack it up -- nearly 1,100 pots of coffee a minute is made on average.

Tim Hortons' brewing facility in Henrietta makes coffee for all the Tim Hortons restaurants across the U.S. It doesn't matter which Tim Hortons you go to, you're still getting the same quality of coffee.
