Livonia man charged with felonies for stealing guns

CONESUS, N.Y. (WROC-TV) - A Livingston County man is facing felony gun theft related charges after allegedly stealing guns in Conesus.

Jeffrey Walker Jr, 20, of Livonia, was arrested on May 14 after the Sheriff's Office was contacted twice within an hour to investigate two separate incidents of gun larcenies from homes in Conesus. 

Deputies say its investigation quickly revealed Walker allegedly possessed two of the stolen guns. It is also alleged that Walker sold one of the stolen guns to another person illegally.

Walker is charged with two felony counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and one felony count of criminal purchase or disposal of a weapon.

Walker is in Livingston County Jail on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.

Deputies say two of the guns have been recovered and more charges are possible.
