Hopewell receiving nearly $2M for water system upgrades

HOPEWELL, N.Y. (WROC-TV) - The Town of Hopewell in Ontario County is receiving nearly $2 million in funding to make critical water system upgrades.

The town is receiving $1,960,000 in funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development program.

The water system upgrades will extend public water service to 79 residents in the town who do not have safe and potable water.

Installation of these water mains will also increase access to water for residents.
