ROCHESTER, NY (WROC-TV) - The 2016 Corn Hill Arts Festival will be held July 9 and 10 in Rochester.
Volunteer Coordinator Joanie Fraver discussed some of the returning events and new features for this year's festival Wednesday on News 8 at Noon.
The ESL Color Corn Hill Contest returns this year. Voting for the finalists continues through May 27 in three age groups between five and 16 years old, click here.
The 8th annual Emerging Artists Expo sponsored by MVP Health Care is accepting applications for artists between 16 and 25 who have never exhibited at a juried arts festival before. The festival provides support for the artists in terms of tenting and the opportunity to display their work before thousands of people. The application deadline is May 31, click here.
Back for a 4th year is the Fairy House Tour where people of all ages, but especially children, are encouraged to sign up and display their Fairy House as part of the free event. The entry deadline is June 17. Competition winners will be displayed at The Strong National Museum of Play.
Returning to this year's Corn Hill Arts Festival after a long absence is the Classic Car Show, co-sponsored by the Finger Lakes Car Club. You can submit an application for your classic car to be a part of the show on the festival website. Also this year, the Bristol Mountain Mobile Aerial Park will provide eight exciting, elevated climbing elements.
This summer will mark the 48th Corn Hill Arts Festival.
