Constellation Brands closes Napa wine tasting rooms amidst California wildfires

Wildfires could impact local winery

VICTOR, N.Y. (WROC-TV) - As California wildfires tear through Wine Country, Constellation Brands Inc. in Victor has closed its tasting rooms in Napa Valley and Sonoma.

Their Senior Director of Communications tells News 8:

Our thoughts and prayers are with those impacted by the wildfires and our first concern is for the safety and well-being of our employees and neighbors living in the impacted areas. As a precaution, we’ve closed our tasting rooms in Napa Valley and Sonoma. We’re working to ensure all local employees are accounted for and safe, and to assess any potential impacts to our facilities.

Constellation Brands is the largest wine company in the U.S. -- it operates 18 different wineries including Robert Mondavi, Clos du Bois, and Meiomi.
