Catering company turns historic property into wedding venue

WHEATLAND, N.Y. (WROC-TV) - A local catering company has transformed a historic barn into a wedding venue -- Cobblestone Wedding Barn in Wheatland.

Kane Gascon and Kristina Schiano, owners of the Cobblestone Wedding Barn, said he was inspired after his daughter got married inside a converted barn. He explained what makes these so unique.

"There's no post and beams," said James Kolb. "They are framed barns, which is very advantageous for weddings."

The Isaac Cox Homestead was named a landmark historical property in 2003.

There have only been four owners of the property over the past 200 years.
