RIT Ready For Frozen Four

This is RITs first trip to the Frozen Four, but thats hardly the case for tomorrows opponent, Wisconsin. The Badgers have been to the Frozen Four 11 times and theyve won six national titles. Still, RIT is not intimidated. "I wouldnt say theres an intimidation factor, anything like that," Jared DeMichiel said. "Were very confident in ourselves. We know what we have in our locker room. Everyone knows their roles and everyone plays their roles to the fullest. If we play to the best of our ability, we can play with anybody. We should have a great game with Wisconsin on Thursday and we look forward to the challenge of playing them." "I dont think we really see ourselves as a lower seed," added Chris Haltigin. "Everyone got here by hard work and everyones here for a reason. I think just because no one knew who we were before, they kinda know who we are now. We dont see ourselves lower than anyone." "I think its become alot bigger than we all expected," said Andrew Favot. "We never thought wed be playing in the Frozen Four, but now, the whole city of Rochester, the RIT community is getting behind us. Were not just playing for us anymore. Were playing for everyone as a RIT fan. " If RIT is going to win, the key might be to score first. The Tigers have done that in 13 of their last 14 games. Theyre 13-1 in that span. The Tigers have also scored first in all six playoff games and theyve won all six. The game is Thursday night at 5pm.
