AARP Survey Reveals Older Singles Not Practicing Safe Sex

Sexually active singles over age 45 have a low rate of practicing safe sex. That's one of the key findings in the new AARP sex survey.

Only one in five of the sexually active dating singles included in the survey uses condoms regularly.

AARP relationships expert Pepper Schwartz said using protection during sex is critical at any age to help prevent sexually transmitted diseases.

The survey also showed singles age 45 and older are happier with their sex lives than married couples in that age group.
