Producer and Artistic Director Eric Johnson, and RLTC Board President and dialect coach Stephanie Paredes discussed the production Friday on News 8 at Sunrise.
"In the Heights" tells the story of a hispanic neighborhood in New York City's Washington Heights. It explores the universal themes of finding the freedom to be yourself and discovering your place in the world. The story is told through a variety of musical styles, including freestyle rap, rhythmic salsa, soaring ballads and powerful Latin-inspired grooves.
