Stageworks will present the regional premiere of "Bonnie and Clyde" this weekend on stage at Rochester's Aquinas Institute.

Laura Mueller, who plays Bonnie, and Alec Nevin, who plays Clyde, discussed their roles and the show Tuesday on News 8 at Noon.

"Bonnie and Clyde" tells the story of the infamous outlaws Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, who went from small town Texas bank robbers to America's most reknowned folk heroes during the height of the Great Depression.  The Stageworks version of the show will be a unique take on the story, with a non-traditional musical score as well.

Performances will be held in the Thomas F. Bell Auditorium at Rochester's Aquinas Institute on Dewey Avenue, as follows:

Friday, July 11 at 7:30pm
Saturday, July 12 at 7:30pm
Sunday, July 13 at 2:00pm

Tickets are $12 and $10 for seniors and students in advance, $14 and $12 at the door.  A reception will follow the opening night performance.  Proceeds from Stageworks' 2014 season will benefit NAMI Rochester.  For more information or to order tickets, click here.
