The Rochester Broadway Theatre League is presenting "Beauty and the Beast" through Sunday, May 18 at Rochester's Auditorium Theatre.

James May, who plays the clock Cogsworth in the show, discussed the popular musical Wednesday on News 8 at Noon.

May said "Beauty and the Beast" captures the love story of Belle and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress.  He has "clocked" over 750 performances as Cogsworth and said the opportunity to share the timeless story with fresh audiences makes it enjoyable.

"Beauty and the Beast" has something for everyone.  Children will be dazzled by the princess Belle, while adults will find humor in the story as well.

Tickets are available at the Auditorium Theatre Box Office, by phone at 585-745-3000 (groups of 15 or more may call 585-277-3304) or online, click here.
