Learn More About the First Resolutionary Awards

- RESOLVE of Greater Rochester, Inc. is proud to announce the First Annual Resolutionary Awards which will be presented on Thursday April 10, 2014, at the Country Club of Rochester from 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM. Breakfast will be served. The Resolutionary Award will be presented to one man and one woman ̶ the everyday heroes ̶ that stand tall in our community as allies promoting safety, cultivating change in attitudes and beliefs, and inspiring others to join in our mission to eradicate all forms of violence against women and girls. Nomination criteria and forms can be found online at here and due by 2/28/14.

Bringing an end to domestic violence, sexual assault, rape and other violent crimes committed against women necessitates that both individuals and communities make women's safety a priority. "As much as RESOLVE is committed to making our community safe for women and girls, we cannot do it alone," said Allison O'Malley, Executive Director of RESOLVE. "Through this award we wish to recognize the contributions of extraordinary individuals who demonstrate the impact that one person can have toward forging a path toward a brighter future that is safe and just for all its members."

The awards will be presented at the Country Club of Rochester on Thursday, April 10th from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM as part of a fundraiser for RESOLVE. Tickets to the event are $40 each and can be purchased individually or in tables of 10. Event sponsorships are available. For event info, go to www.resolve-roc.org or call Margaret Madigan, Development Coordinator, at 585.425.1580.
