Busy season continues for RBTL

- Rochester Broadway Theatre League Executive Vice President Linda Glosser discussed the busy schedule Wednesday on News 8 at Noon.

"American Idiot the Musical" comes to the Auditorium Theatre Thursday, February 26 for a one night production.  Other special events in the coming weeks include "Rain a Tribute to the Beatles" on March 7 and "The Chieftains" on March 13, as well as "Sesame Street Live" for a three day run March 14-16.

Eight-time Tony Award winner "Once" makes its way to Rochester from March 18-23.  "Phantom of the Opera" returns to the Auditorium Theatre from April 16-27.

In addition to the spectacular stage productions, the RBTL continues its Theatre Team collaboration with the Rochester City School District.  The relationship gives students the opportunity to come to the Auditorium Theatre for their first theatre experience.  Over 600 students saw "Sister Act" earlier this month.

Amidst the ongoing productions, there have been upgrades to the aging Auditorium Theatre.  There are now handicap accesible restrooms to improve the theatre-going experience for all.

At the end of March, RBTL will look to the future as the lineup for the 2014-15 season is unveiled.
