Catholic Charities Community Services will host the third annual "Breakfast with Friends" Friday, March 7 at Irondequoit Country Club.

The event will be held from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m.

Catholic Charities Community Services Executive Director Lori VanAuken and Assistant Director Tracy Boff discussed the event Tuesday on News 8 at Noon.

Jeanne White-Ginder, the mother of the late Ryan White, will be among the speakers at the Breakfast with Friends gathering.  Ryan White became infected with HIV from a contaminated blood treatment during the early days of the disease.  He was diagnosed in December of 1984 and lived until 1990.  During that time, White helped change the perception of HIV-infected people.

The annual "friendraiser" is free, but only limited seating remains.  For more information, click here.
