Some Delta customers could not believe their eyes when they browsed for fares Thursday morning. A glitch caused steeply-discounted tickets to be offered online. Customers celebrating their finds on social media say fares went as low as $27. Boston to Honolulu? Just $68. The glitch has been resolved, but a Delta spokesman says the airline will honor the incorrectly priced fares. No word on how many tickets were sold at the super-low prices.
Target says it has no evidence that its customers' pin numbers have been compromised. This is the latest update in the wake of a hack to the retailer's payment system that put the information of 40 million customers in the wrong hands. Late last week, Target said that the hack began on Black Friday and stretched more than two weeks to December 15th. Target says they are working to address the issue and are in the early stages of a criminal and forensic investigation.
