The third annual "Go Green with Michael Viggiani" will be held Thursday, June 20 at the Rochester Museum & Science Center.

The public is invited to attend the free event from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. that night.

The expo will be the largest gathering of area businesses with green products and services.  It aspires to be Rochester's first event with zero landfill waste.  The museum will run on green energy that day, courtesy of one of the presenting companies Constellation Energy.

The expo will feature over 20 companies and is being organized by Viggiani, a pioneer in the field of sustainable energy who introduced the first sustainable lighting technology in Rochester in 2008.  Viggiani is the President of Rochester-based Go Green LED International.

The event will also feature live music, food and drinks, as well as a silent auction.  Proceeds from the expo will benefit the Equicenter, a non-profit horse riding therapy program in Mendon that serves returning veterans and children with disabilities.  Equicenter is raising funds to build a fully sustainable barn.
