More layoffs at Kodak. The company has notified New York State that it expects to layoff 61 Rochester workers by the end of August. Kodak cites the decline in motion picture volumes, which is a majority of the film Kodak still produces. A company spokesperson said, "While certainly not on the scale of last year, we continue to make workforce adjustments, especially at Eastman Business Park, as we align costs to reduced film volumes." Kodak is expected to emerge from bankruptcy this summer.
