Bomb Squad and Hazmat called to Rochester Neighborhood

- Everyone is safe after bomb squad and Hazmat crews were called to a Rochester neighborhood last night.  As a precaution, first responders closed off several blocks around an apartment at 57 Sterling street on Rochester's northwest side.
Police received a call for a landlord-tenant dispute.  They talked to the tenant and learned an unknown liquid was being manufactured in the apartment.  The bomb squad determined it was not hazardous.  The situation took a couple of hours to sort out.

Tashja Walls, a resident in the area said, "I heard people screaming down, I heard people running down talking about Police got shotguns, Back up, back up."  Terrence Hill, another resident, added, "The Police were standing right here. Right here. He had a shotgun in his hand."

The liquid is believed to be a bio-fuel.  The unidentified tenant is charged with harassment in connection with the landlord dispute.
