Blueberry Sunday is all part of Gro-Moore Farms' Summer Tasting Series.
Visitors at Saturday's event got to sample blueberry syrups, pies, breads, cheesecakes, and much more. All the blueberries were grown in the Hilton or Waterport areas within an hour of the farm.
"I think it's really important for people to taste home grown; there's such a difference," urged Kathy Moore of Gro-Moore Farms. "Things that ride on the truck here, and get ripe on the way, taste completely different than things that have ripened out in the sunshine."
The tasting series started with Strawberry Sunday last month. The Sweet Corn Festival is next, on August 10th.
