Nazareth College Student Recognized for Project
A Nazareth College student has been invited to a conference next week in Arizona. It's a Clinton Global Initiatives Partnership workshop.
Danielle Mensing, a junior, applied to the program. She created "Social Change Through Intergenerational Dialogue."
"Social Change Through Intergenerational Dialogue is an innovative movement to enhance awareness and responsiveness to issues faced by older adults and to strengthen services in long and short term health care for all present and future generations. Through Intergenerational Dialogue, youth and older populations will come together to share their hopes and challenges, while developing new methods to increase understanding and influence," Mensing wrote.
Watch an interview with Mensing on News 8 First at 4 by clicking the video above. Mensing encourages people interested in her project to contact her via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
