Brighton to Reenact Town's Meeting in 1814

The Town of Brighton is celebrating its bicentennial with a series of events this year, including a reenactment of the town's first meeting.

That meeting took place at the Stone-Tolan House. Minutes from the meeting still exist. They discuss food shortages and security measures. On April 5, actors will portray people who attended the meeting in 1814. Tickets are required to attend. For more information on how to obtain tickets, as well as other bicentennial events, click here.
